Double Convex Lens

The double convex lens comprises an incident plane and an emission plane. It is characterized by a longer focal length in the middle of the lens plane and a shorter focal length at the end of each lens plane.


The front and back surfaces of the double convex mirror are convex spheres, and the radius of curvature is equal, so that the lens has symmetry, the spherical aberration can be minimized, and the distortion is eliminated


Double convex lenses are used primarily to focus light from point sources or to transmit images to other optical systems.
